An exciting Sports Leadership Course for young people aged 12–16, designed to build confidence, leadership skills and knowledge of sport. Delivered over 5 x 2-hour workshops (1PM–3PM) during school holidays, the course includes a Leadership Learning Journal and explores the FA 4 Corner Model: Technical, Psychological, Physical and Social. Participants will develop key life and leadership skills including communication, teamwork, planning, confidence and resilience. The programme also includes a fun Enterprise Challenge, where teams create and pitch their own sports ideas. Hours may contribute towards the The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (where applicable), and the course provides guidance towards coaching, refereeing and volunteering pathways in sport.
